Red Gold

For this series I wanted to see what red pine plywood looked liked if it was burned and carved.

The red pine was quite lovely to carve and the reslut was very pleasing

I added a touch of gold as a transition from the carved wood to the burned one, to high-light the wood and make it look like one coherent object.
